The Zonta Club of Essex County is a service
club with a commitment to promote and uplift
the status of women locally and globally, and to
eradicate violence against women and children.

	Recruit new members, and retain current members in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Zonta International.
	Raise the community’s awareness of the Zonta Club of Essex County’s history and purpose.
	Promote & support the accomplishments of women who have made significant contributions within the Zonta Club of Essex County and the tri state region.
	Become knowledgeable advocates for women’s causes, both local and internationally.
	Continue to render services and provide resources to individuals and organizations locally and globally in accordance with our by-laws.

Greetings! The members of the Zonta Club of Essex County welcome you to our web site. Our club, which recently celebrated its 75th birthday, is committed to service, education and advocacy in our mission to uplift the status of women worldwide. Please use this site as a resource for learning more about the Zonta Club of Essex County, and about Zonta International.

To date the Zonta Club of Essex County has donated more than $60,000 dollars in scholarships to young women in Essex County. Please help us to continue this tradition by supporting our events.
